Follow a routine that includes things that make you feel good.
Taking care of yourself is important, but it may be difficult to motivate yourself to do so. Try to fix a meal for yourself, go to the gym or engage in some kind of activity that you enjoy, such as art, trivia, or volunteering. Setting a routine that includes taking care of yourself might be hard to balance against the urgency of some of your academic deadlines, but many schools have resources to help you set a schedule and manage your time. Your Career or Academic Services office may offer time-management strategies or you may be able to ask a friend to help you draft a schedule that allows you to make time for both coursework and non-academic activities. A counselor can help you identify strategies for reducing stress and anxiety. Check with your school for other well-being options.
